Dr. Li Chen has been in dental field for more than 20 years and is always passionate about what she does every day. Dr. Chen started her dental education in 1992 in Wuhan University, China. After graduating, Dr. Chen pursued four years prosthodontics specialty clinical training in Peking University, one of the top dental schools in China. She earned clinical prosthodontics’ specialty certificate and Ph.D. degree there and was awarded Top Graduate when she graduated. During her residency training there, she majorly worked in Prosthodontics and implant department.

Dr. Chen moved to U.S in 2001. She worked for World Congress of Oral Implantology in Manhattan for a short time. Then she went to the School of Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania for two years clinical training in the advance standing program and earned her D.M.D degree there in 2005. Before graduation, Dr. Chen earned outstanding performance award in Endodontic department, 3 months honors program in the Children’s hospital of University of Pennsylvania, one of the best Children’s hospital in U.S. She also went to externship programs in Hartford hospital, CT, University of Connecticut and Hospital of University of Pennsylvania.

After graduation, she has been seeking the best dental continue education program in the nation to keep her skills and knowledge updated. Some examples are: She joined Columbia University’s implant training program in 2009-2010, NYU’s full mouth reconstruction program from 2015-2016, NYU implant program from 2016-2018 and stayed there for another year of clinical associate.

Dr. Chen is a gentle, dedicate and patient dentist. She has three kids and speaks English and Mandarin Fluently. She is an active member of ADA and NJDA. She is also an Invisalign Certified Doctor, Perio Laser certified doctor, TeethXpress Certified provider and a member of America Academy of Facial Esthetics.
